From time to time, Lewis County PUD staff may recommend the disposal of materials, equipment, or properties due to the fact that they are no longer necessary, material to, or useful in the operations of the PUD and, therefore, surplus to the needs of the PUD. These recommendations must be taken to the Board of Commissioners for its action. The surplus of PUD property is governed by Policy 100-020 (PDF)
Once the Board of Commissioners has approved a surplus resolution, the PUD Operations Department will utilize a third-party to sell surplus items. The majority of items will be listed on Public Surplus Website.
