Update (1/10/22): The high Water Levels Caused Damage to The Debris Barrier at The Cowlitz Falls Hydroelectric Project. the Day Use Park Will Remain Closed until Repairs Are Completed.
Original: Beginning Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. (noon), the Cowlitz Falls Day Use Park will be closed due to high river flows which require a partial drawdown of the Lake Scanewa reservoir. The Day Use Park will be closed until further notice.
