Ten public power utilities in southwest Washington came together to purchase a transbanker unit for the training of apprentice linemen in our region. This piece of equipment is now up and running in the training facility at Grays Harbor PUD. This transbanker allows for real-life scenarios to be demonstrated and resolved in a safe, controlled environment without some of the hazards associated with their very difficult and dangerous work. The linemen who use the equipment during their apprenticeship wanted to make this video to say "Thank You" to the utilities that made this possible.
