About the Kids’ Fishing Derby
We are excited to announce that the 2024 Kids’ Fishing Derby will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2024!
What: 2024 Kids’ Fishing Derby
Who: Youth ages 14 and younger (Limit 150 kids)
When: Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; Check-in will begin at 8:15 a.m.
Where: Cowlitz Falls Day Use Park (See “Directions” tab below for detailed directions.)
How: Registration can be completed at https://www.lcpud.org/recreation/kids-fishing-derby/ in the “2024 Derby Registration” tab starting May 15th. If there are any spots available on the day of the event, on-site registration will begin at check-in time: 8:15 a.m.
Why: In recognition of National Fishing Week, Lewis County PUD and the U.S. Forest Service Randle Ranger District proudly host an annual Kids’ Fishing Derby for youth ages 14 and younger.
