An energy audit must be performed prior to the installation of measures to be eligible for rebates. Lewis County PUD provides energy audits at no charge to current customers.

Eligibility Requirements
Existing site-built single family and manufactured homes that heat with electric zonal heating or an electric forced air furnace may be eligible for the ductless heat pump (DHP) grant. Contractor installed equipment must meet efficiency ratings, with a limit of one grant per home.
Homes not heated electrically are not eligible for grants, please contact your fuel provider for incentives (homes with wood heating systems and supplementary gas stoves and fireplace inserts may be eligible—please contact Energy Services staff for more information).
Equipment Requirements
Ductless heat pump must have an AHRI Certificate documenting the minimum efficiency rating of 7.5 HSPF2.
Rebates
- 12k-15k BTU Outdoor Unit: $4,600
- 18k BTU Outdoor Unit: $4,800
- 24k BTU Outdoor Unit: $5,000
Eligibility Requirements
Existing site-built single family and manufactured homes that are electrically heated may be eligible for window grants. Only site-built homes are eligible for insulation grants (please see table below for pre-existing insulation requirements). Existing windows/patio doors must be single pane or double pane metal to be eligible.

Window Rebate
New Windows must be NFRC rated and have a U-value of .30 or lower (.29, .28, etc.).

Program Participation
- Submit low-income application (see program documents below) and schedule energy audit.
- After your initial audit is completed you will receive a list of eligible measures for your home.
- The District offers a courtesy list of area contractors, available in our Chehalis and Morton offices, and our low income packet below.
- Approved low income customers must obtain a minimum of two bids and submit them to energy services for review.
- A verification of the measures installed will be conducted by a member of our energy services team to ensure the installed measure(s) meet program specifications (see below).
- The Conservation Participation Agreement must be completed prior to receiving a rebate. If the homeowner and account holder are different parties, both parties must complete and submit the conservation participation agreement before an incentive can be processed. This form is available by using our online form or by completing the program packet, both found below.
