Scammers have recently used phone calls to Lewis County PUD customers to try and get financial information.

A customer recently called and said that he received a call from the PUD. When he answered, a man on the other end said that the PUD had overcharged him and wanted to refund him on his credit card. The caller said they just needed his credit card to refund his money. When they asked for his credit card number, the customer hung up on them and called the PUD to verify.

If you get an email or phone call you think is suspicious, do what this customer did and hang up and call our Customer Service Representatives at 360-748-9261 to check your account status.
