LCPUD approved contractors will be inspecting, testing, and treating about 3,600 poles in the Elbe and Morton areas September through November.
The Program includes a thorough inspection of the poles and their components, (which may involve drilling holes and preservative application).
The work will be done by an LCPUD approved contractor with clearly marked service trucks during September through November.
This work is being performed to extend the life of the utility poles and check for defects, rot, and damage.
