Compliance dates are organized based on the floor area of buildings that fall under the law. Building owners will then need to comply every five years after their first compliance date.

| June 1, 2027: | Buildings greater than 90,000 sq. ft. and less than 220,001 sq. ft. |
| June 1, 2028: | Buildings greater than 50,000 sq. ft. and less than 90,001 sq. ft. |

| July 1, 2027 | Commercial buildings greater than 20,000 sq. ft. and less than 50,001 sq. ft. & all multifamily residential buildings greater than 20,000 sq. ft |
