On May 7, 2019, Governor Jay Inslee signed into law the Clean Energy Transformation Act (CETA) (SB 5116, 2019 (PDF)), which commits Washington to an electricity supply free of greenhouse gas emissions by 2045. As part of this new law, utilities like Lewis County PUD are required to develop a Clean Energy Implementation Plan (CEIP) which provides a general roadmap over the next 4 years (2022-2025) for how the utility may progress towards achieving the requirements of the law.

Let’s Create a Clean Energy Future Together

The Clean Energy Implementation Plan (CEIP) is a four-year roadmap that will guide Lewis County PUD’s clean energy activities for the years 2022-2025. We need your help to include our customer and community values in our plan to build a more equitable and sustainable clean energy future for our region. This plan will help us to track our progress towards ensuring all customers benefit from our clean energy actions, with careful consideration for vulnerable populations and highly impacted communities.
