On May 7, 2019, Governor Jay Inslee signed into law the Clean Energy Transformation Act (CETA) (SB 5116, 2019), which commits Washington to an electricity supply free of greenhouse gas emissions by 2045. As part of this new law, utilities like Lewis County PUD are required to develop a Clean Energy Implementation Plan (CEIP) which provides a general roadmap over the next 4 years (2022-2025) for how the utility may progress towards achieving the requirements of the law..
Let’s create a clean energy future together
