2021 Kids’ Fishing Derby to be held on June 12

Lewis County PUD, in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service’s Randle Ranger Station, is excited to announce the 27th annual Kids’ Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021.
What: 2021 Kids’ Fishing Derby
Who: Youth ages 14 and younger
When: Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; Check-in will begin at 8 a.m.
Where: Cowlitz Falls Day Use Park (See “Directions” tab below for detailed directions.)
How: Due to COVID-19, the 2021 Fishing Derby will be limited to the first 50 kids to register. The event will follow Washington State COVID-19 protocols. Registration can be completed in the “2021 Derby Registration” tab HERE. If there are any spots available on the day of the event, on-site registration will begin at check-in time: 8:00 a.m.
Why: In recognition of National Fishing Week, Lewis County PUD and the U.S. Forest Service Randle Ranger District proudly host an annual Kids’ Fishing Derby for youth ages 14 and younger.
