    You become a customer of the PUD on the date you are responsible for electric service to your home or business.

    Application for Service

    If you need electrical service for an existing home, business, or recreation property, please stop by your local PUD office to speak to the Applications Clerk. We will need such information as: billing name, address, date of occupancy, telephone number, social security number, and other pertinent information.

    Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Commercial and industrial customers are billed monthly. Most residential accounts are billed every other month. PUD Office locations are as follows:

    Chehalis: 321 NW Pacific Avenue
    Morton: 110 Main Avenue

    Deposits

    You will be asked to pay a deposit when opening a new account (see Misc Charges link). Customers who have established a satisfactory payment record with another utility or who have a prior record of prompt payment with the PUD, may be excluded from the deposit requirement. Please contact the Applications Clerk if you have questions regarding a deposit.

    Payments

    Payments may be made by mail, electronic funds transfer (EFT), deducted directly from your checking account or in person at the PUD office or paystation nearest you. In addition, the District accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Debit Card payments for electricity billings. Payments made at a paystation must be made before the billing due date. Each PUD office also has a night depository for payments made after normal business hours.

    Payment Arrangements

    We pride ourselves on being a friendly and helpful PUD. If you find it necessary to make special billing arrangements on your account please contact our Credit Clerk before your account becomes delinquent. We can also refer our needy customers to local agencies for financial assistance.

    Bill Inquiry

    Lewis County PUD Customer Service staff or the Billing Supervisor will assist customers when there is a question with the electrical bill. Our Customer Service staff will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have about Lewis County PUD.

    New Service (No previous service at location)
