Cowlitz Falls Recreation Facilities

Lewis County PUD operates four public recreation facilities, three along the Cowlitz Falls Reservoir and one near the town of Packwood.

The seasonal campground on Peters Road, Cowlitz Falls (Bud Allen Park) Campground, is located on the banks of the Cowlitz River. Here you will find camping facilities, restrooms, a picnic area, a ball field and a boat ramp.
The Cowlitz Falls Day Use Park, on the banks of Lake Scanawa, has a boat ramp, picnic accommodations and a boat ramp.
The Packwood Community Ball Park, located just outside the town of Packwood, provides a ball field and picnic area.
The Copper Canyon Creek Take-Out, located on the Cispus River, provides rafter and kayaker facilities to exit the river before entering the Cowlitz falls reservoir.
